On November, 12 2008 St. Petersburg House of book conducted the meeting with Natalia Sokolovskaya, prosaic, poet, translator, author of the novel “Literary slave: working days and holidays” (the book was published under a pen name Natalia Sorbatskaya).

 

Natalia Sokolovskaya is known as the poet and translator as well as author of Russian-Georgian projects. Until recently only few readers knew that Natalia Sokolovskaya is the author of the sensational “Literary slave”.

 

During the meeting Natalia Sokolovskaya spoke about her novel, read verses, translations from Georgian, answered readers’ questions as well as introduced the story “Luba, the street cleaner” which was being published in “Novy mir” magazine. Finally, autograph session took place.

 

Boris Averin, Doctor of Philology, Professor, author of literary TV programmes was the anchor person.
