St. Petersburg, Lensoveta Theatre
Actors from the Theatre for Young Spectators named after
A.Bryantsev and the Experimental theatre directed by A.
Praudin made a special present for Ludmila Petrushevskaya’s
anniversary: to show 2 plays staged in the Theatre for Young
Spectators by legendary Zinovy Korogorodsky in 1980s. The
first theatrical novel is called “Love” and was shown in the
play “For two voices”, the main particularity of staging was
that playwrights visited rehearsals and made notes. On
February, 24 it was the performance of the actors who were
taught how to perform the play by the author, Ludmila
Petrushevskaya. The second play “I’m a fan of Sweden” was
self-performance of actors carried out under Korogorodsky’s
supervision.
The evening also included reading of the play “Bifem”
(the play won the festival “New drama” award in 2003),
staging of A.Sharapko (Z.Korogodsky’s disciple), the main
role was played by magnificent Irina Sokolova.
