Palmi Ranchev

 

Palmi Ranchev was born on 9.02.1950 in Sophia, Bulgaria.

 

In 1971 he graduated from the Higher National Sport Academy “Vasil Levski” in Sophia and was a boxer (Junior champion in 1966 ), coach, master of cafй and gambling hall, director of a news-paper, script writer, anchor person and freelance journalist.

Palmi Ranchev is a winner of a number of literary awards beginning from the debut collection of verses which was nominated by the prize for the first book “Southern spring”. His stories and verses are included in Bulgarian and foreign collections of the modern Bulgarian literature and translated in many European languages.
