Ildar Abouzyarov is one of the most talented young Russian novelists. The circulation if his first collection of stories “Autumn of genies” was completely bought up in Nizhny Novgorod. The novels “Khoush” and “Kourban-roman” have been published recently.

Ildar Abuzyaov was born in 1976 in Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod at present). He became broadly published in 2000 and has about 20 publications in famous literature magazines and almanacs, namely: “Vavilon” (Babylon), “Drouzhba narodov” (Nations Friendship), “Oktyabr’” (October), “Znamya” (Flag), “Noviy mir” (New World), “Den’ I noch” (Day and Night). In 2006 two stories – “Post” and “Moor” – were short-listed for Yuri Kazakov’s prize. The novel ”Khush” was included in long-lists of National Bestseller and Big Book Prizes. Some works were translated in German, Czech and Swedish. A story “A trolleybus going East” was published in the oldest European magazine Ord&Bild.

Ildar Abuzyarov participated in “Literature express”, young writers’ workshop in Lipki, Moscow region, and in international book fairs.
